Kevin Chandler

Kevin Chandler is the President and General Manager of Veolia Water Long Island in Nassau County, NY. Chandler oversees wastewater operations that include three wastewater treatment plants with a total capacity of approximately 150 million gallons per day (MGD), 3,000 miles of sewer pipeline and 58 pumping stations that serve over 1.3 million residents.
Since joining Veolia in 1987, Chandler has held various management positions in the company’s contract services division. His key achievements include helping to develop the concession model that led to high-performing water and wastewater operations and improved financial performance in Bayonne, NJ and Middletown, PA.
Chandler also led the restructuring of the company’s North American contract services portfolio, resulting in greater client service and value to both the company and municipalities across the country. Chandler served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1979 to 1982, in which he was recognized with a Naval Accommodation Medal for Meritorious Service. He is a licensed wastewater treatment plant operator and a member of the Water Environment Federation.
