Offshore Wind Supply Chain (Interactive Map)
NYLCVEF’s new interactive map visualizes the current offshore wind (OSW) supply chain in New York, highlighting the companies and organizations that are a part of this growing industry in New York State.
The offshore wind industry – and its workforce – is playing a critical role in helping New York State to reach its goal of generating 9 gigawatts of homegrown, clean energy by 2035.
With multiple tiers, OSW offers opportunities for small and local businesses to participate in building and maintaining the current projects that will power over one million New York homes and invest billions of dollars in New York.

By the Numbers
“Our strategic offshore wind agreements with developers are designed to transform New York's port infrastructure while tapping into the skilled manufacturing sector that already exists across our State - and we are seeing this unfold with this major offshore wind investment at the Port of Coeymans.”
Doreen Harris
President, NYSERDA
Generating 9 gigawatts of offshore wind power by 2035 will help power up to six million homes and create tens of thousands of family-sustaining jobs for New Yorkers. But we’re not just talking about turbines off the coast of Long Island. We’re talking about a deep and dynamic supply chain that stretches across the entire state.
