NYLCVEF holds policy forums, candidate forums, and fundraising events across the state and throughout the year.
Our nonpartisan candidate forums, which take place in the weeks leading up to an election, bring candidates to their community so voters can learn more about their environmental policies. Our policy forums bring experts, advocates, and decision-makers together to develop solutions to local environmental problems. Click on the events below to learn more about how you can join us.
Each year, our Spring Gala brings together an exciting group of business leaders, elected officials and environmental partners to celebrate and support the work we accomplish together all year.
Join us at our environmental forum with Public Advocate candidates moderated by Politico New York’s Gloria Pazmino
Join us at our town hall as we head back to school and learn about the need for better busing from our diverse panel of speakers. We’re bringing together experts and local activists to discuss the impact of diesel school buses and explore pathways to going electric.
Join us for a candidate forum in NY’s 19th Congressional District featuring Democratic Nominee Antonio Delgado and Congressman John Faso.
Join us for a full-day conference on how the Chesapeake Bay is connected to the Upper Susquehanna River Watershed.
The event will feature experts and local leaders (specific presenters will be announced soon) and will provide practical insight into how the region can implement more GI to protect water quality and improve communities.
We’re teaming up with campaign partners to deliver our petition to Governor Cuomo urging him to prioritize New York’s Volkswagen Settlement funds for electric school buses!
Monday, May 14th from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers
