Climate Week 2025 Is Here!
| September 21, 2025
Climate Week NYC 2025 kicked off yesterday and runs through September 28, is advertised as “the largest annual climate event of its kind,” with more than 900 events citywide.
“This year’s edition of Climate Week NYC,” according to the official Climate Week NYC website, “will be a platform for inspiring heads of government, ministers and climate envoys, and for some of the most prominent leaders from the world of business, tech, academia, and civil society.”
The annual event, begun in 2009 by the Climate Group, an international nonprofit, is run every September in unison with the opening of the United Nations General Assembly and with New York City.
Many of the key events, including the opening series of speeches and talks, will be live streamed and can be attended virtually. The Hub Live portion, which is on Monday and Tuesday, promises to “bring together hundreds of the most influential leaders from business, government, and the climate sector.”
To sign up for programming, go to the Climate Week website.
